A rare antique small ribbed mixing bowl with 2 brown and 1 white band, 6 1/8" diameter by 2 3/4" tall by 2 3/4" round at bottom, 1 1/2 cup capacity, weight 3/4 pounds. An antique sewing rocker with ladder back and split woven seat. Shaker style with turned knobs on the back posts and extended front legs. These extensions were used to mount candles for light. Chair is 36" tall in back by 19" wide with 23" long rockers. Seat is 17" wide by 14" and 16" above floor. Made of hard wood probably walnut with a dark stain. Presented is a handsome English Mulberry ironstone platter made by Jacob Furnival & Company. The platter is done in the Medina pattern which depicts people in a garden with mountains, mosques, and other types of architecture in the background. The central scene is surrounded by smaller scenes of ships and boats. The platter was made in the mid 1800s, certainly between 1845 to 1865.
