Tabby - Brown - Samantha - Medium - Adult - Female - Cat
Samantha is soooo very very sweet. This approximately 11 year old lady adores attention and LOVES to be brushed. Backwards, forwards, with a comb or Zoom Groom, she just LOVES it! So much though, that i think her brother Scooter has grown to like it too! Samantha likes to cuddle in bed and will borrow under the covers for naptime, so you will peek in --especially in the cooler months--and often just see a lump under the covers. (That's her:>) Her brother Scooter often joins her under the covers in their warm spot. She likes to play with any toy she can get her paws on and has a slender body. She is quite agile, as opposed to her brother, who is a little more clumsy. Samantha purrs and purrs and likes to give you headbutts as she gazes into your eyes. Oh and she might drool a bit when she is oh so happy. She loves to be draped on a cat perch and that is often where you will find her, especially because thats where she normally gets brushed! Both Samantha and Scooter are about 11 years old and need to find a home together. In their foster home, they share a room, and when their out- of -room exercise time is over, and it's time for them to go back into their room, their foster mom says "bedtime!" and they both come running into the room and hop up on the bed. Both cats are excellent with their litter boxes and have their front claws. An adult-only home is the best for them as loud noises can scare them. They may need about a week or so, to settle in to their new home, but once they blossom, they will absolutely be your most loyal and loving pals. The cats currently eat dry cat food free choice and enjoy seafood flavored Fancy Feast canned food (flaked or grilled). Cause for Paws is a small all-volunteer Minnesota nonprofit 501 (c) (3) group whose main focus is on finding homes for stray and abandoned cats and kittens. Cause for Paws fosters these cats in our own private homes, we don't have a central facility. Upon intake, every Cause for Paws cats is examined by a veterinarian, provided with any medical care the cat may need such as dental work, blood profiles, surgery or prescriptive medicine, and is Feline leukemia/FIV tested; vaccinated against rabies and distemper good for one year; is wormed; treated with Revolution for fleas, ticks, and other parasites; is spayed or neutered; and implanted with a Home Again microchip and the chip is enrolled. Each foster family gets to know their kitties very well and the goal is to select the kitty of your dreams and the family that the cat dreams of!
