Vintage watercolor by Minnesota artist Catherine Hearding titled "Baltimore Orioles Juveniles" done in 1974 and beautifully framed and matted. She started painting in 1974 so this would be among her first efforts. It is an exquisitely rendered portrayal of four chicks perched on a limb, signed and dated on the lower right, 'C Hearding 1974'. Also labeled on the back with the title, 'original watercolor', the artist name and hand written '1975' (presumably when it was framed). It measures 13.5" by 18" to outer edges of the frame or 5.25" by 9.75" excluding matte and frame and is in excellent condition.
