Labrador Retriever - Mazey - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog
Mazey is a 4 year old female Lab mix. She is mixed-breed dog and weighs 44 pounds. She came to the Humane Society after she was found on a rural property and proceeded to give birth to pups. The property owners found homes for all of the pups, but could not find a home for Mazey, so she came to us. While Mazey can be leery of some men, she is charming once she gets to know you. She loves to cuddle with people she trusts. Initially we learned that a leash was foreign to her. She was most likely a free-run type of dog in her prior home(s). However she has grown accustomed to getting leashed up and walks much better now on the leash. She does well with our other male Shelter dogs and enjoys playing with them, but does NOT like female dogs. She seems in good health and good spirits. She keeps her kennel pen at our Shelter spotless.Mazey is spayed and current with all vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $75. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes. This form is a simple one-sided Microsoft Word document and it can be e-mailed to you upon request.
